Returns for refund or exchange.

When is it possible to initiate a return?
Within a week of receiving order.

What amount will be refunded or credited to an exchange?
The returned product's purchase price minus a 10% restocking fee.

Which purchases are not eligible for return?
Custom orders are not eligible for refund or exchange. Additionally, purchases made by gift card can be exchanged but are not eligible for refund.

At Distortion Brothers Guitar Shop, we take every precaution to ensure orders are accurately fulfilled and safely shipped. Even so, sometimes things don't go exactly to plan. In all cases, we strive to ensure our customers' satisfaction. That is why our return policy provides seven days for your inspection, which doesn’t begin until after the order has been delivered.

When issuing a refund or store credit, the amount will include the full purchase price but a ten percent restocking fee will be deducted. Any shipping costs to return the product are your responsibility.

Custom ordered products are not eligible for refund or exchange. Additionally, we cannot issue refunds for gift cards or purchases made with gift cards. However, exchanges can be made for items purchased with gift cards.

If you identify any issues, please call us at +1 (650) 741-0400 or email us at during that period for a return authorization (RA) number. We will need your order number to issue the RA number, so please have that information when you contact us.

Once you have the RA number, please repackage the item and all of its components (i.e. instruction manuals, hang tags, case keys, etc.) with all of the original packing materials. Please insure the return shipment for the full cost of the item and retain its tracking information.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will contact you by phone or email to confirm the status of your refund or exchange. Refunds can only be credited to your original form of payment.
