M-tone Guitars Flight Risk Copper Top

  • The casual observer might see the M-tone Guitars Flight Risk as a fanciful take on the single-cut slab body guitar. But closer inspection reveals layers upon layers of inspiring surprises. When you then consider the sum of these parts, it is apparent that Matt Proctor designed the Flight Risk model to be the ideal launchpad for his wide variety of tonal and artistic customizations.

As with all M-tone Guitars, this Flight Risk Copper Top was handmade by Matt solely and it is truly one of a kind. All of the wood used in M-tone Guitars is top-notch and carefully selected but this Flight Risk was built from a 240+ year old Fir beam salvaged from the workshop's ceiling! Top that off with an expertly crafted Copper face and you have one stunning and highly resonant guitar.

In addition to the photos on this page, please look at the SPECIFICATIONS and VIDEOS tabs above to really get a feel for those layers upon layers of inspiring surprises.
